Samantha DiMatteo
Associate Director Ms. DiMatteo is originally from Old Bridge, New Jersey and is a proud alumna of Old Bridge High School where she performed in the marching band and indoor percussion programs. From there she went to school at West Chester University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree in music education. While Ms. DiMatteo attended West Chester University she performed in the university’s wind ensemble in the euphonium section and during her summers competed with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps on baritone horn. After completing her degree and marching three summers with The Cadets she taught Cadets2 and then moved her way onto Texas where she currently resides today. Ms. DiMatteo taught for two years at Bernard Harris Middle School and during the summer months she currently teaches drum corps on brass staff. In 2018 Ms. DiMatteo taught The Oregon Crusaders and from 2019 to present she teaches The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps. Ms. DiMatteo is extremely excited to start working with the students at Seguin ISD band program for the second year in a row! |
